Dr. Jonathon Hoy completed his medical degree at UNSW in 2007. He spent 5 years working in Sydney and Rural hospitals doing emergency and surgical rotations.  In 2013 he moved to Port Macquarie to complete his GP training, and expand his family.

 

Since finishing his GP training, Dr. Jonnie has become a dedicated Skin Cancer and Cosmetic Medicine Doctor. In 2018 he opened Port Skin Clinic. He saw that there was a shortage of local doctors with expertise in the skin cancer field, and that local patients were not being serviced adequately. Teaching is a passion of his, and he has been involved in the training of many local skin cancer doctors and nurses.
 

When not working as a clinician, educator or clinic owner Jonnie enjoys being active and
enjoying the outdoors with his family and friends. Hobbies include Camping, Surfing,
Mountain biking, and Rugby coaching.
